Before Tyson Fury’s fight in Riyadh was postponed, Oleksandr Usyk was training for his fight against the British star, and he missed the birth of his infant girl.
On February 17, Fury and Usyk were scheduled to square off for the undisputed heavyweight championship in Saudi Arabia.
However, Fury opted to cancel it following a painful cut sustained during sparring, and their rematch has been scheduled for May 18.
Egis Klimas, the manager of Usyk, called the Gypsy King a “f****** coward” and chastised him for the postponement, accusing him of purposefully inflicting the injury.
