The best player for Juventus, Paul Pogba, has been suspended from football for the next four years. Pogba, who currently plays for Juventus and
was previously the most expensive player in the world, will likely hang up his boots for the next four years unless something changes.
According to media reports, Pogba was hit by the regulatory harmer in August 2023 after failing a significant drug test.
The Juventus player, 30, tested positive for testosterone following the team’s opening match of the season against Udinese.
On Thursday, February 29, Pogba received a heavy sentence from the Italian anti-doping prosecutor’s office, according to La Repubblica.
Pogba promises to fight his football ban. Pogba’s attorneys stated that their client had turned down a plea agreement and had accidentally consumed the drug. The ban will be appealed to the Court of Arbitration for Sports, according to Pogba. Unless the ban is revoked, he will not be permitted to return to the field.
Since he turns 31 in March, football commentators speculated that this would be the end of his professional career. By the time the heavy sentence is served, he will have been 35 years old.
