Only two years have passed since we last saw the former point guard for the Los Angeles Lakers on an NBA floor. Isaiah Thomas is officially back in the league. Thomas just agreed to a 10-day contract with the Phoenix Suns, a rival team in the Pacific Division.

Throughout his brief tenure with the Lakers—he played the second half of the 2018 season in Los Angeles—Thomas was a fan favorite. In 2021, he returned to the team and signed a 10-day deal.
The Lakers only let him play in four games before deciding not to extend his contract. In the four games he played with the Lakers in 2021, Thomas scored 9.2 points per game on average. With the Boston Celtics in 2017, Thomas, a two-time All-Star in his career, was selected to the NBA All-Second Team. in Thomas back in the league, it’s more enjoyable, and we wish him luck in Phoenix.
