Just In: Noah Lyles Open letter of apology to His Fans for His utterances…

Social media users have been reacting to a podcast interview with American sprinter Noah Lyles in which he spoke about his knowledge of happenings within Jamaica’s track and field camps.

“Junelle being Jamaican and having trained in MVP, I have been getting the drama from the Jamaican camp at least five years now. There is a lot of times I make references about Jamaicans but I am not trying to go back and forth, like I know information that other people don’t,” said Lyles.

Seeing the backlash from fans and friends, He had to apologize through an open letter.

Dear Fans,

I want to express my sincerest apologies for the recent comments I made that may have caused confusion or hurt among you. As an athlete, I understand the influence my words carry, and I regret any disappointment I may have caused.

Competing at the highest levels of sport comes with immense pressure, and sometimes in the heat of the moment, I may say things that do not reflect my true values or beliefs. I take full responsibility for my words and actions and understand that accountability is essential.

You have supported me throughout my career, and for that, I am truly grateful. Your unwavering support motivates me to strive for excellence and to be a role model both on and off the track. I deeply value our relationship, and I am committed to earning back your trust.

Moving forward, I will be more mindful of how I express myself in public and ensure that my words align with the respect and admiration I have for all of you. I am dedicated to being a positive influence in the community and using my platform to promote unity and understanding.

Once again, I apologize for any disappointment or hurt caused by my recent comments. Your support means the world to me, and I promise to do better.

Sincerely,

Noah Lyles
