Nick Bosa’s Mom On why she told Him to Boycott the Superbowl

Cheryl Bosa, mother of San Francisco 49ers defensive end Nick Bosa, has publicly called for a boycott of the upcoming Super Bowl LIX.

Her stance stems from perceived officiating biases favoring the Kansas City Chiefs, particularly in their recent playoff games and past Super Bowl appearances.

In a recent Instagram story, Cheryl shared a video clip highlighting a controversial holding penalty against 49ers offensive lineman Trent Williams during Super Bowl LVIII, where the 49ers faced the Chiefs.

The clip emphasized questionable officiating decisions that many believe benefited the Chiefs. Across the video, she wrote, “Boycott the Super Bowl!!!”

Additionally, Cheryl reposted a past interview with 49ers running back Christian McCaffrey from 2023. In the interview, following the 49ers’ NFC Championship loss to the Philadelphia Eagles, McCaffrey expressed his indifference toward the upcoming Chiefs vs.

Eagles Super Bowl, stating, “I hope they both lose. I don’t have a prediction.” Cheryl captioned this repost with “Mood,” indicating her shared sentiment regarding the current Super Bowl matchup.

The Chiefs’ recent victories have not been without controversy. Their win over the Buffalo Bills in the AFC Championship was marred by debates over officiating, with several calls appearing to favor Kansas City.

Critics argue that such decisions have paved an easier path for the Chiefs to the Super Bowl, leading to growing frustration among fans and stakeholders.

Cheryl Bosa’s public call for a Super Bowl boycott reflects a broader discontent with perceived officiating inconsistencies and alleged biases within the NFL. Her statements have reignited discussions about the integrity of the game’s officiating and the league’s commitment to fairness.
