Tom Brady was reportedly “stunned” upon learning that his ex-wife, Gisele Bündchen, is expecting a child with her boyfriend, Joaquim Valente.
Although aware of their serious relationship, Brady “never imagined” they would have a child together. After the initial surprise, he has “warmed up to his ex-wife’s new chapter” and is “ultimately happy for her.”
Bündchen, 44, and Valente, 35, began dating in June 2023. She is currently five to six months pregnant, with the baby due in early 2025.
The couple plans to have a home birth and has chosen to wait until the birth to learn the baby’s sex. Bündchen informed Brady and their two children, Benjamin (14) and Vivian (11), about the pregnancy before it became public.
Brady and Bündchen divorced in October 2022 after 13 years of marriage. In addition to Benjamin and Vivian, Brady has a 17-year-old son, Jack, from a previous relationship with Bridget Moynahan.
Since the divorce, Brady has been focusing on his children and career. He has not publicly confirmed any new relationships.
Following the news of Bündchen’s pregnancy, Brady shared a cryptic Instagram Story featuring a sunset and three red hearts, accompanied by The Chicks’ cover of Fleetwood Mac’s “Landslide.” This post led to speculation about his feelings regarding the news.
Despite the initial shock, Brady is now supportive of Bündchen’s new chapter and is focused on co-parenting their children.
Speaking at a podcast, Brady said, ‘ I got to find out that my wife was pregnant just weeks after our divorce – we got divorced in 2022 and she became about 6-months pregnant in early 2023. What can I do than to support her and wish her the best, it showed I have never been keeper right from the beginning, so, because of my kids I got no choice’
Tom Brady refused to comments if he was in a new relationship, stating that He can never be put in same situation again from His first experience.
